Willowbrook Athletics is proud to share Jory Crocker and Noah Edison, both from the class of 2026, have been named as the Anyway’s Athletes of the Month for May.
Name: Jory Crocker
Sport: Baseball
May successes: Throughout May, the Willowbrook Baseball Team put together a historic run, and Crocker was at the center of that dominance. With Crocker’s leadership and clutch production, the Warriors captured the West Suburban Conference Gold Division Championship with an undefeated conference record, as well as a 10-game winning streak. Crocker posted a .451 batting average, a .580 on-base percentage, 46 hits, 45 RBIs, 42 runs scored, 4 home runs and a .940 fielding percentage. His dominance didn't go unnoticed, as he was named the West Suburban Conference Gold Division Player of the Year and earned a selection to the All-Area Team.
Name: Noah Edison
Sport: Baseball
May successes: Throughout May, the Willowbrook Baseball Team put together a historic run. The team relied on top performance on the mound to close out its historic month, and that is exactly what Edison provided. Edison’s dominance was a driving force behind the Warriors capturing the West Suburban Conference Gold Division Championship with an undefeated conference record, as well as a 10-game winning streak. Edison shut down opposing offenses to rack up a stellar 7-1 record, a 1.82 ERA and 59 strikeouts. He also earned regional recognition, as he was named the West Suburban Conference Gold Division Pitcher of the Year and was selected to the All-Area Team.
