Addison Trail students invited to join advisory assembly with State Rep. Norma Hernandez

State Rep. Norma Hernandez (pictured above) invites Addison Trail students to join the Student Advisory Assembly (SAA), a dynamic think tank that brings together high school and college students from the Illinois 77th district.

Convening under the guidance of State Rep. Norma Hernandez's office, students will share insights and ideas from their academic communities. Members will consult on various initiatives, events and resolutions, contributing to the shaping of policies and programs that impact student life within the district. The SAA aims to foster and enhance civic engagement among youth, ensuring their voices are heard and their ideas are transformed into actionable outcomes.

Participants will gain skills in:

• Understanding government processes
