Graduation Requirement = 3 years/6 semesters of Social Studies

Required Courses:

Freshman Year
Advanced Placement (AP) Human Geography, or Human Geography, or *Sheltered Human Geography

Sophomore Year
Advanced Placement (AP) US History, or US History, or *Sheltered US History

Junior Year
Advanced Placement (AP) Microeconomics, or Economics, or *Sheltered Economics, or Advanced Placement (AP) Macroeconomics

AND

Advanced Placement (AP) US Government, or US Government, or *Sheltered US Government and Politics

Elective Course Options:

• Advanced Placement (AP) Comparative Government and Politics (1 semester, junior or senior year)
• Sociology (1 semester, junior or senior year)
• Advanced Placement (AP) European History (2 semesters, sophomore, junior or senior year)
• Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology (2 semesters, junior or senior year)

*English Language Learners are placed in Sheltered courses by recommendation only.
