Addison Trail students participate in aviation career pathway field trip

On May 2, 21 Addison Trail students who are enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses participated in a career-exploration field trip organized by CTE teacher Stacey Puccini with American Airlines to learn about working in the aviation industry.

During their visit, students learned about the various careers available within the aviation industry, including operations, mechanics, maintenance, baggage claim, customer service, auto service, human resources, ticketing/terminal jobs, finance, engineering, IT and more. The group also participated in a tour of the facility, which was led by Danato Giuseffi, Facilities Maintenance/ORD Tech Ops, and Lawrence Waiters, Aircraft Mechanic/ORD Tech Ops.
