On Feb. 29, Addison Trail Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher Stacey Puccini was named as one of the regional CTE Instructors of the Year for Business Education.

Puccini was selected by District 88, in partnership with College of DuPage (COD) and DuPage Area Occupational Education System (DAOES). She was honored and recognized for demonstrating innovation, passion and advocacy for CTE.

“Puccini’s ability to connect with students, understand their unique needs and foster a sense of belonging is truly commendable,” said Jennifer Kowalski, Addison Trail CTE Department Head. “Not only has Puccini provided students with career-exploration experiences outside of the classroom, she has brought the world into the classroom by inviting distinguished guest speakers. Through these interactions, students gain insights into different careers, learn about industry trends and are inspired by successful professionals. Puccini has successfully bridged the gap between education and the professional world and has provided students with a comprehensive understanding of their chosen paths. Even with doing all of that, Puccini also has found the time to incorporate more dual-credit classes into our program.”
