Addison Trail culinary students visit RPM restaurants in Chicago to learn about hospitality industry

On Feb. 27, 14 Addison Trail students who are enrolled in Career and Technical Education Teacher Bridget Colleran’s Culinary Arts 3 – Catering class visited RPM restaurants in Chicago (see photos above).

According to https://www.rpmrestaurants.com, “RPM is a group of restaurants from celebrity couple Giuliana and Bill Rancic and siblings R.J., Jerrod and Molly Melman of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. The RPM brand focuses on sourcing the highest quality ingredients and providing guests with exceptional service for a dining experience unlike any other. RPM Italian and RPM Steak are located in the River North neighborhood of downtown Chicago, with locations of RPM Italian in Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas. The team’s latest collaboration – RPM Seafood – opened January 2020 on the Chicago riverfront.”

During the field trip, Executive Chef Christopher Gawronski provided the group with a tour through River North to see and learn about the various roles/career opportunities within the hospitality industry and Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. RPM Italian and Lettuce Entertain You also treated the students to an amazing lunch.
