Addison Trail students participate in Occupational Health Career Exploration Project

Addison Trail students in teacher Kallie Haney’s health class are participating in an Occupational Health Career Exploration Project.

Through this process, pupils:

  • Develop social skills and learn how to foster positive work relationships.

  • Choose a career that aligns with their passions and values.

  • Learn to balance work and leisure time and why this is important for overall wellbeing and quality of life.

  • Experience a variety of career options and finalize one to research. This includes interviewing a person in that field, if possible.

District 88 is committed to providing multiple and flexible pathways for students to ensure they are college and career ready and continues to partner with colleges/universities and local businesses to expand these opportunities. See details at www.dupage88.net/Pathways. District 88 also invites companies to collaborate with the district and support students. See details at www.dupage88.net/BusinessPartnerships.
