Addison Trail Blazettes to host tryouts for 2024-25 school year

Attention, current and incoming Blazers! The Addison Trail Blazettes (Poms) Team will host tryouts on May 7 and 8 for students who are interested in joining the group for the 2024-25 school year.

Blazettes is Addison Trail's competitive dance team that performs during varsity football, soccer and basketball games and also participates in IHSA Dance Competitions. The season runs from June to February. Blazettes continue to show their Blazer Pride by being positive role models within the school and community, as they take part in various school and community events.

To help students prepare for tryouts, the group will host two open gym sessions. See the details below.

What: Open gyms will focus on technique and choreography. Attending these sessions isn’t required to try out on May 7 and 8, but is highly recommended.

When: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on April 17 and 24

Where: Addison Trail High School, 213 N. Lombard Road in Addison (in the Dance Gym)
