"The State of District 88" video segments 2015-16

District 88 partners with Addison Community Television (ACTV) to film “The State of District 88.” The show takes place several times throughout the school year and highlights student successes, as well as important information about the district.

The show also can be viewed on local cable channels. See details below.

Sept. 1, 2015

  • Preview of a seminar at Willowbrook that will focus on the topic of addiction.
  • Information about Addison Trail’s plans to celebrate the school’s 50th anniversary, which will be in the 2016-17 school year.

Sept. 21, 2015

  • Information about District 88's upcoming Young Hearts for Life programs. District 88 has partnered with the Young Hearts for Life® (YH4L) Cardiac Screening Program, a not-for-profit organization affiliated with Advocate Charitable Foundation, to offer free electrocardiograms (ECGs) to identify high school students at risk for heart conditions. The events are sponsored by Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare. Young Hearts for Life will take place on Feb. 11 at Willowbrook and on Feb. 25 at Addison Trail.
