District 88 is thrilled to introduce a new communication piece – a video segment called “88 in 88.” These videos feature 88 seconds of news and highlights from District 88 to share important information to help keep stakeholders connected with and informed about the district.
The newest “88 in 88” episode showcases the District 88 Foundation, which hosts and participates in a variety of events to raise money to benefit students. Those funds are used for mini-grants to implement innovative, teacher-led initiatives. To view the “88 in 88” message (in English and in Spanish), click on the videos above.
On Sept. 28, the foundation will host its inaugural Gathering at the Grapevine fundraiser, and all stakeholders 21 years old and older are invited to attend. The event will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at DeVine Wine and Cocktail Bar in Villa Park, and participants will enjoy drinks, food, music, a raffle and more.
