District 88 recognizes and celebrates National School Social Work Week

From March 3 to 9, District 88 recognized and celebrated National School Social Work Week to honor the tireless efforts of school social workers, whose commitment to fostering positive school environments directly impacts students, administrators, teachers, educators, parents/guardians and the community at large.

According to the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA)’s website (https://www.sswaa.org/school-social-work-week), “This weeklong event shines a spotlight on the dedicated professionals who play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being and success of students throughout the nation.” This year's theme is "Pearls of Wisdom."

District 88 greatly appreciates the dedication and efforts of the district’s social workers and pupil personnel services (PPS) staff members and thanks them for their continued commitment to support students and families.
