The CTE Family and Consumer Sciences Department of District 88 is dedicated to enhancing the relationship among individuals, families, communities and the environment in which they function. The purpose of Family and Consumer Sciences is to offer students a comprehensive study of daily living and emphasizes its interconnectedness of subject matter as applied to the complex continuing concerns of families. The focus of all curricular and extra-curricular activities aims toward recognizing societal change and improving individual, family and community well-being.
