District 88 Foundation invites you to participate in its first ‘Paddle Battle’ pickleball tournament

Calling all Addison Trail and Willowbrook staff, students, parents/guardians, alumni, community members and friends!

You’re invited to attend the District 88 Foundation’s first “Paddle Battle” pickleball tournament! You won’t want to miss this fun-filled event – see all the details below!

What: District 88 Foundation “Paddle Battle” pickleball tournament

  • There will be two divisions of play, based on skill level.

    * The tournament format is round robin (meaning you will play against multiple people). If you would like to be placed on the same court as a specific player, please contact District 88 Director of Community Relations Dani Brink at dbrink@dupage88.net or 630-530-3989.

  • There also will be a free lesson for those who are new to pickleball, but want to participate in the tournament – see details below!

  • Medals will be awarded.

  • There will be a raffle for prizes.

When: March 2, 2024

  • 8:30 to 9 a.m. - Free lesson (for those who are new to pickleball, but want to participate in the tournament)

  • 9 a.m. to noon - Tournament

Where: Willowbrook High School, 1250 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park (in the fieldhouse)

Cost: $25 a player

New to pickleball? No worries - we've got you covered!
Certified pickleball coach Alvin Ibalio will provide a free lesson from 8:30 to 9 a.m. for those who are new to pickleball, but want to participate in the tournament. Take a lesson, and then compete in the tournament!
