Willowbrook Speech Team earns awards at Joliet West High School tournament

On Nov. 4, members of the Willowbrook Speech Team competed in a tournament at Joliet West High School and came in 9^th place out of 19 schools.

Below are the team’s individual results from that event. Students are pictured in the order in which they're listed below.

Humorous Duet Acting: Sophomore Malachy Heneghan and junior Jason Nelson, 5^th place

Impromptu Speaking: Junior Margaret Brennan, 3^rd place

Informative Speaking: Junior Nuha Ashar, 6^th place

Original Oratory: Freshman Alina Iqbal, Top Novice

Poetry Reading: Freshman Francesca Pack, 5^th place
