Families and educators invited to attend PUNS Seminar

On April 23, State Rep. Diane Blair-Sherlock will provide a seminar for families and educators to learn more about PUNS.

According to the Illinois Department of Human Services' Division of Developmental Disabilities, “PUNS is a statewide database that records information about individuals with developmental disabilities who are planning for or seeking services. The state uses the data to select individuals for services as funding becomes available, to develop proposals and materials for budgeting, and to plan for future needs.” For more information, go to https://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=47620.

The presentation will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at DuPage High School District 88, 2 Friendship Plaza in Addison. A Spanish-speaking interpreter will be available to assist attendees. For questions or more information, call 630-415-3520, or e-mail JaxWest.D46@gmail.com.
