You’re invited to District 88’s Community Nights to celebrate the start of the 2018-19 school year

District 88 invites all stakeholders to celebrate the start of the 2018-19 school year with its third annual Community Nights – a time for fun, food and District 88 pride! See all the details below.

Show your pride: Be sure to show your support by wearing T-shirts/gear to represent your sport, club or activity!

When: Aug. 17 (Doors will open at 6 p.m., and a showcase of the schools’ athletic teams and extracurricular activities will begin at 6:30 p.m.)

Where:

The Blue and White Community Night will take place in the football stadium at Addison Trail (213 N. Lombard Road in Addison).

The Silver and Blue Community Night will take place in the football stadium at Willowbrook (1250 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park).

Cost: Admission is free! Donations will be accepted for the District 88 Foundation, which raises funds to benefit District 88 students. The Community Night events are sponsored by the foundation, and you can see more information at www.dupage88.net/foundation.

What: The evening will feature …

  • Booths showcasing the schools’ extracurricular activities
  • A scrimmage by the Boys Soccer Team
  • A scrimmage by the Football Team
  • Performances by the Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheerleading Team and dance groups
  • Introductions of the fall sports teams
  • Local youth athletic teams in attendance
  • Concessions and spirit wear for sale
