Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for two members of Boys Gymnastics Team

On May 11, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for two members of the Boys Gymnastics Team, who competed in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Boys Gymnastics State Meet.

That event took place on May 11 and 12 at Hoffman Estates High School.

Senior Adam Sousa competed on all events (all-around, floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar), and below are his standings.

• All-around: State co-champion (pictured above, at left on the first-place podium)
• Vault: 3rd place
• High bar: 3rd place
• Rings: 5th place
