The Brook Catering Co.

The Brook Catering Co. was established in 2012 to transition the Willowbrook culinary program from providing students with basic lessons in culinary arts to skills that will be necessary for careers in the food service industry, catering and nutrition/menu planning. Willowbrook students enrolled in Culinary Arts 3 – Catering have successfully completed Culinary Arts 1 and Culinary Arts 2 and have earned their Food Handler certification. When students begin working with The Brook Catering Co., they immediately begin preparing for the Food Safety & Sanitation Manager Certification. Completion of that national certification and all coursework earns students dual credit at College of DuPage (COD).

The Brook Catering Co. caters many events within the school building during the school year, including events before and after school hours. Some of those events include the Homecoming Dance, Outstanding Student Breakfasts, Box Lunches, Strings Festival Luncheon, Staff Holiday Luncheon, Administrative Assistant Tea and a variety of other treat sales, breakfasts, luncheons and dinners.

We also are happy to accommodate special requests from departments and activities that need a range of food preparation services.
