Completion of Open Meetings Act Training and PDLT/PERA Training
The following Board Members have satisfied the State of Illinois Open Meetings Act requirement of P.A. 97-504 that calls for instruction in the legal requirements for open meetings such as procedures regarding quorums, notice and record-keeping; and procedures for holding open and closed meetings. The following Board Members also have satisfied the State of Illinois Professional Development Leadership Training (PDLT)/Performance Evaluation Reform Act (PERA) requirements of P.A. 97-8 that calls for instruction in education and labor law, financial oversight and accountability, and fiduciary responsibilities, as well as PERA evaluations for Board Members who will participate in a vote on a dismissal based on the Optional Alternative Evaluation Dismissal Process.
