Six members of Willowbrook’s Business Professionals of America Team qualify for State competition

Six members of the Willowbrook Business Professionals of America (BPA) Team have qualified to compete in the State Leadership Conference after placing at Regionals on Jan. 13.

Those students are listed below, along with the events in which they qualified.

  • Senior Mahnoor Fatani: Advanced Accounting (1st place at Regionals); Payroll Accounting (1st place at Regionals)

  • Senior Hasan Alhan: Advanced Accounting (5th place at Regionals)

  • Sophomore Omar Mohammed: Intermediate Word Processing (2nd place at Regionals)

  • Junior Diego Morales Perez: Intermediate Word Processing (3rd place at Regionals); C# Programming (1st place at Regionals)

  • Junior Ryan Doggett: Computer Security (3rd place at Regionals); Linux Operating System Fundamentals (1st place at Regionals)

  • Senior Neeraja Kumar: Fundamental Desktop Publishing (2nd place at Regionals); Presentation Individual (1st place at Regionals)

The State Leadership Conference will take place from Feb. 23 to 25 in Oak Brook.
