ISBE to host public hearings to receive input regarding state funding priorities for public education

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) will host public hearings to receive input from educators, parents/guardians, students and community organizations regarding state funding priorities for public education.

The hearings will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 (virtual), 6 (in person) and 24 (virtual). Information, requests and testimony provided will help guide the ISBE’s advocacy for equitable funding for all students in fiscal year 2024.
