District 88 earns four national-level awards from National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA)
District 88 has earned national-level recognition from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA)’s 2022 Golden Achievement Awards and 2022 Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards.
The district has received one Golden Achievement Award and three Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards.
- The Golden Achievement Award recognizes outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing and engagement.
District 88 earned a Golden Achievement Award for the student-led news channels at Addison Trail and Willowbrook high schools. AT News (at Addison Trail) and The Brooks Channel (at Willowbrook) launched in September 2020 to keep students and staff connected, even in a virtual environment during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic; to share school, local, state and national news and events to keep students and staff informed/up to date; to remain focused on expanding cultural competency in District 88; and to increase a sense of belonging in students by having them get involved with the news channels. - DuPage High School District 88 website redesign (Honorable Mention): The District 88 website (dupage88.net) was updated during the 2021-22 school year. Enhancements include a fresh new look, more user-friendly navigation and better accessibility.
- DuPage High School District 88 Profile (Honorable Mention): District 88 earned a “Special Purpose Publication” award for this postcard, which highlights the district’s four main areas of focus with regard to student success – College Ready, Career Ready, Culturally Ready and Future Ready.
