District 88 Board of Education approves 2022-23 school year calendar

During its Jan. 10 meeting, the District 88 Board of Education approved the 2022-23 school year calendar.

Highlights of the calendar include:

• First day of classes: Aug. 17, 2022
• Graduation: May 21, 2023
• Last day of classes: June 1, 2023 (provided no emergency days are used)
• Parent-teacher conferences: Oct. 6, 2022
• Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level exams: May 1 to 12, 2023

Breaks:

• Thanksgiving break: Nov. 23 to 25, 2022
• Winter break: Dec. 26, 2022, to Jan. 6, 2023
• Spring break: March 27 to 31, 2023
