ARP ESSER Use of Funds Plan

The American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund provides nearly $122 billion to states and school districts to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the nation’s students.

During the Oct. 18 District 88 Board of Education meeting, District 88 Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Yvonne Tsagalis shared how the district plans to allocate the ARP ESSER funds that have been designated to the district. Tsagalis also discussed how the district apportioned the ESSER I and ESSER II funds that were received earlier. To view the presentation, click on the video or the link above.
