District 88 seeking Substitute Teachers and Teacher Assistants

As with many school districts in Illinois and throughout the U.S., District 88 is experiencing staff shortages in the areas of Substitute Teachers and Teacher Assistants in Literacy and Special Education.

The district is hiring these positions and has immediate openings. See the details below.

Substitute Teachers
Where: Addison Trail High School, Willowbrook High School and District 88 Office

Pay:

• $20 a period, or $120 a day (Certified) for the first 30 days worked
• $21.67 a period, or $130 a day (Certified) for days 31 and higher
• $14 a period, or $98 a day (Classified)

Requirements (one of the following items is required):

• Illinois Professional Educator License
• Illinois Substitute License

Teacher Assistants in Literacy and Special Education
Where: Addison Trail High School, Willowbrook High School and District 88 Office

Pay:

• ELS (PARA) and or Substitute License: $16 per hour
• Vocational Aide: $17.48 per hour
