Willowbrook alumnus and production manager Bill Franz (pictured second from left in the top row) meets with members of Willowbrook Thespian Troupe No. 94 on Feb. 10 to share his experiences as a professional in the theatre industry and to offer advice.

On Feb. 10, members of Willowbrook Thespian Troupe No. 94 participated in a virtual Masterclass, where they had the opportunity to meet with Bill Franz (pictured above), Production Manager at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre.

Franz is a Willowbrook alumnus (class of 1997). He is an experienced sound engineer (skilled in Pro Tools, audio engineering, production management, stage lighting and event management) and has a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry.

During his presentation – which took place virtually because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic – Franz shared his journey of becoming a professional in the theatre industry, offered students advice regarding honing their craft and provided tips for students when they’re on stage as part of the cast and off stage as a member of the crew.
