People’s Resource Center seeking donations for Back-to-School Drive

People’s Resource Center (PRC) will host a Back-to-School Drive. PRC will collect new school supplies through Aug. 7 to give DuPage-area students a good start this school year. The supplies will be distributed to 1,000 families in need in August.

To make a donation:

1) Visit the following sites to buy supplies from the personalized PRC registries, and have them delivered to 201 S. Naperville Road in Wheaton.

2) Drop off new school supplies by noon on Aug. 7 at the following locations:

  • 201 S. Naperville Road in Wheaton (open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Friday and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

  • 104 Chestnut Ave. in Westmont (open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Friday and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

* To follow necessary health and safety practices, please put school supplies in closed plastic or paper bags, or in boxes.
