District 88 Board of Education recognizes Willowbrook Principal for being named as 2019-20 President of the Illinois Principals Association

Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause (left) is honored by Dr. Jason Leahy, Executive Director of the Illinois Principals Association (IPA). Krause was recognized during the Sept. 9 District 88 Board of Education meeting for being named as President of the Illinois Principals Association (IPA) for the 2019-20 school year.

During the Sept. 9 District 88 Board of Education meeting, Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause was honored for being named as President of the Illinois Principals Association (IPA) for the 2019-20 school year.

Dr. Krause was recognized by Dr. Jason Leahy, Executive Director of the IPA. Dr. Krause has been a member of the IPA since 2002. During his time with the association, he has served as President-Elect, member of the Board of Directors and member of the Membership Committee. Dr. Krause also has served the DuPage Region as State Director, Awards Chairperson and member of the State Superintendent’s Principal Advisory Council.

Dr. Krause has been recognized by his peers as the 2013 DuPage County High School Principal of the Year by the IPA, a finalist for the 2016 Golden Apple Stanley C. Golder Leadership Award and the Illinois State Board of Education’s Those Who Excel program.
