The 32nd annual Addison Mayor’s Community Charity Ball will raise much-needed funds for Addison-based charities and service organizations, including the District 88 Foundation. The foundation invites you to support Addison Trail and Willowbrook students through participating in this event.
The ball will begin at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11 at Medinah Shriners, 550 Shriners Drive in Addison. Your generous contributions will benefit the District 88 Foundation, which is a member of the Partnership for Inspired Education (PIE) Foundation. PIE is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves public school students in District 88, Addison School District 4, District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48. Founded in 2009, PIE is designed to be the foundation that supports a long-term partnership with the community, businesses, schools and, most importantly, the children served.
Below are three ways you can assist the District 88 Foundation.
For more information about the PIE Foundation and the District 88 Foundation, go to www.dupage88.net/foundation. Funds raised by the District 88 Foundation have been used to support students through initiatives such as providing computers and internet access, subsidizing Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level tests and offering mini-grants for staff to develop instructional opportunities for students.
