On May 23, Willowbrook’s Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Achievement (HOLA) Club hosted its second annual Senior Night to highlight and celebrate students' academic successes, community service commitments and leadership accomplishments. HOLA focuses on the awareness of Latin American culture, development of character, leadership and scholarship service.

During the event, more than 200 students, parents/guardians, staff members and administrators came together for an evening of music (provided by a live band), dancing, awards and traditional food items from various countries in Central and South America.

The following two students also were honored:

  • NEED NAME: Received a $500 scholarship from the HOLA Club (provided through fundraising efforts)

  • Lia Galindo: Recognized for being accepted to Harvard University and Yale University (she will attend Harvard)
