On May 19, more than 100 members of the Addison Trail class of 2023 were recognized for their achievements and outstanding academic and athletic performances during the school’s first Senior Recognition Assembly (previously the Senior Awards Night).
The student emcees were seniors Anna Olsen and Vito Diciolla. Remarks also were made by Principal Jack Andrews.
During the event, students were recognized for winning scholarships, being named to the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program, being selected as recipients of the President’s Award for Educational Excellence, being named as State Scholars, senior department award recipients, state qualifiers and more. More than $450,000 in awards and scholarships was presented to the recipients.
The 2022-23 staff retirees were highlighted as well. They are Coleen Brechin, Patricia Hochheimer, Stephen Holland, Kathleen McColaugh and Caryn Scimeca (who was presented with the 2023 Outstanding Achievement Award).
