Addison Trail Counseling Department hosts Senior Opportunities Fair to help students develop post-secondary pathways

On May 11, the Addison Trail Guidance Department hosted a Senior Opportunities Fair for students who are looking for pathway options to pursue after graduation. The fair was open to all seniors (including students who plan to attend area community colleges/universities), but was focused on helping those who are undecided develop a post-secondary plan.

The event featured 25 local employers, trade schools, trade/labor unions, county organizations that connect students to employers/career training and organizations where students can volunteer. About 90 students attended.

District 88 and Addison Trail are committed to providing multiple and flexible pathways for students to ensure they are college and career ready and continue to partner with colleges/universities and local businesses to expand these opportunities for students. District 88 invites companies to collaborate with the district and Addison Trail to support students. See details at www.dupage88.net/BusinessPartnerships.
