Willowbrook Flag Football Team continues historic season

The Willowbrook Flag Football Team continued its historic season today, Feb. 3, as the Warriors competed in the NFL FLAG Championships at Pro Bowl in Nevada.

Although the girls lost their three games, they played hard and showed Warrior Pride. They will be back on the field at 11:30 a.m. CST tomorrow, Feb. 4, for single-elimination bracket play. To watch the games, go to https://sites.google.com/dupage88.org/wb-spots-stream/fall-sports/flag-football.

Senior Sarah Ball also won two competitions during the NFL FLAG Skills Challenge – the 40-yard dash and the vertical jump.

The team’s inaugural season has included the following successes:

• Won the regional tournament on Nov. 13 in Ohio
  
  
• Won the inaugural Chicago Bears Girls Flag State Championship on Oct. 29
  
  
• Won the Conference Championship on Oct. 21
  
  
• Finished the regular season unbeaten, and outscored opponents 166-0
