What are the feeder school districts in District 88?
Addison School District 4, Villa Park/Lombard School District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48 send students to either Addison Trail High School or Willowbrook High School in District 88.
What communities are served by District 88?
With a student population of approximately 4,100 students, District 88 serves the communities of Addison, Villa Park, Oakbrook Terrace and parts of Elmhurst, Lombard, Oak Brook, Bensenville, Itasca and Wood Dale.

REGISTRATION
When will Registration be held?
Registration will be held during the month of August on separate dates for each class. Please refer to the following schedule for dates and times and note that more specific times, according to alphabet breakdowns, will be communicated via the mail.
August 24 Class of 2010 (Seniors) 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
August 25 Class of 2013 (Freshmen) 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
August 26 Class of 2012 (Sophomores) 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
August 27 Open Registration 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Addison Trail)
August 27 Open Registration 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Willowbrook)
What are acceptable forms of payment for registration fees?
Cash or personal checks are accepted as well as Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted at the Bookstore.
Does my child need to have a physical before entering school?
High school freshman must have a physical and documentation of current immunizations. Physicals must be on file before the first day of school.
TRANSPORTATION
Is my child eligible for bus service?
Any child who lives more than 1.5 miles from the school of attendance, or in an Illinois Department of Transportation approved hazardous condition area, is eligible for free bus service.
When will I find out the bus route and the bus stop?
Prior to the start of school, a letter will be sent to communicate information about the route number, bus stop location and the time the bus is expected to be at the stop.
My student participates in after-school activities. Is bus transportation provided later than 3 p.m.?
Yes, additional bus runs occur daily at 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Who is eligible to purchase a parking pass and what is the fee?
Student parking at school is a privilege granted by the school. Due to construction, parking permits ($45.00 each) will be issued by a lottery system to seniors who submit a completed parent request form. Permits remain valid for the duration of the school year as long as the holder follows all parking rules and regulations, maintains regular attendance, follows the rules of the school and is making academic progress.
SPECIAL EDUCATION/SPECIAL NEEDS
What do I need to provide District 88 if my student currently receives special education services?
The most current IEP form (Individualized Education Plan). Other documents can be obtained from the previous school district with a signed release for records form.

What is the Transitions Program and who does it benefit?
Launched in the fall of 2008, the Transition Program helps cognitively disabled students, ages 19-21, learn life skills, obtain job training in a community setting and transition to life after District 88. This program is housed in the District 88 Administrative Offices located at 2 Friendship Plaza in Addison.
